Release Manager → Integration → Application and Environment Integration → Auto Registration in Release Automation
Release Automation application and environment functionality is accessed through Single Sign-On (SSO) and various Release Automation authentication and authorization settings. You do not have to manually create your Release Manager user IDs in Release Automation. These are created and configured through Single Sign-On (SSO) and other security and system settings in Release Automation.
By default, the Release Manager admin user is registered in Release Automation and added to the Release Automation Admin Group. This gives the admin user administrative authorization necessary for creating a Release Automation application or environment.
Other Release Manager users are automatically registered in Release Automation when they use functionality in Release Manager that invokes a request in Release Automation. They are added to the Read Only Group in Release Automation, which gives them adequate authorization for selecting and linking to application and environment information through Release Manager.
If you want to change the authorization in Release Automation for a particular user or for the Read Only Group, you must make the changes in Release Automation.
For details on configuring the authentication and authorization settings in Release Automation, refer to Auto-registration of Users.
