Changing Environment Options for Turnovers

By default, users can only choose environments that are reserved for a release train when they create a turnover. For example, the QA Environment must be selected for a release train before an application release for that train can be deployed to the QA Environment.

To change this default behavior:

1. In SBM Composer, open the Turnovers process app.
2. Select the Data Design tab, and then select the Restrict to Release Train Environments? field.
3. On the Attributes tab, set the default value to:
   • Yes

     Select this value to limit the list of environments to those reserved for the release train associated with the turnover.

   • No

     Select this value to allow users to select any environment for the turnover.

   • Yes, except none

     Select this value to limit the list of environments to those reserved for the release train. If no environments are selected for the release train, users can select any environment.

4. Deploy the Turnovers process app.
