Ignoring Unresolved References

You might not need to resolve a reference to something in another process app. For example:

You do not need the other process app.
Your process app runs correctly, even though it is missing some unneeded functionality.
You want to see if the process app is suitable before you make the reference.

To ignore an unresolved reference:

Right-click the reference in App Explorer and select Ignore Reference. The reference is marked through and grayed out.
All references to design elements in the referenced application should also be ignored. Click Validate and make sure that all messages have cleared from the Validation Results.
