Importing a Process App

Use the Import option when you cannot publish the process app directly from SBM Composer. Importing a process app from a file checks the process app into the repository and makes it available to Application Repository and SBM Composer. If there is already a copy of the process app in the repository, importing it from a file creates a new version of the process app. You can import a snapshot on the Process Apps tab as well, but the snapshot appears on the Snapshots tab.

Prerequisites:

To import a process app, you must have the Create Process App privilege, which is granted on the Privileges tab.

To import a process app:

On the Process Apps tab, click the Import button.
Navigate to the file process app file you want to import.
Optionally, enter a Label. This appears in SBM Composer as the Baseline label.
Click Import.

The process app appears in the list of process apps.
