Managing Orchestrations

On the Orchestrations page, you can view and manage orchestrations that are running, in queue, or cancelled. You can also force stop an orchestration if necessary.

Key Benefits

View a summary of active orchestrations, including the current status, who triggered the orchestration, and the total duration.
Manually stop one or more orchestrations that are stuck or long-running.
Manage your active orchestrations without having to purge all orchestration data or interact directly with the database.

Viewing Active Orchestrations

In the Active Orchestrations tab, you can view and stop long-running orchestrations that were recently executed in the system. Use the following filters to find the orchestrations you want to manage:

Host
The host name of the SBM Orchestration Engine server that is running the orchestration.
Type
The type of orchestration: SYNC (synchronous) or ASYNC (asynchronous).
Status
The current state of the orchestration: In Progress, Cancelled, or Pending.
Name
The name of the orchestration.
Started by
The user or external entity that triggered the orchestration.

Stopping Orchestrations

In the Active Orchestrations tab, you can stop one or more orchestrations that appear to be stuck or have been running too long. The table displays the list of orchestrations according to the filters you have applied, plus the orchestration Start Time and Duration.

Use the Stop Selected option to stop all the orchestrations you have currently selected. Use the Stop All option to stop all the orchestrations that are currently displayed.
