Customizing Section Labels and Report Privilege Categories

The Labels tab enables you to rename the field section titles and item details labels for quick forms. You can also customize report privilege category labels for your system.

In addition, you can customize field section titles and item details labels for each primary and auxiliary table in SBM Composer. If custom labels are not provided for a table, the global label provided on the Settings – Label tab applies when you use quick forms.

If you use custom forms, Field Section and Item Details labels provided on this tab do not apply.

The changes made to these labels apply globally for quick forms and, with a few exceptions, appear in SBM Application Administrator.

To customize section labels:

  1. From the Options menu, select Settings or click the Settings icon on the toolbar.
  2. Select the Labels tab.
  3. In the Field Section Labels section, type the new label you would like to apply globally for all field sections for quick forms.
    Note: You cannot rename the Not Used or Deleted field sections.
  4. In the Item Details Labels section, type the new label you would like to apply globally for all the listed sections for quick forms.
  5. In the Report Levels area, type the new label you would like to apply globally for report privilege categories. This label appears on the Report and Table privileges sub-tabs in SBM Application Administrator and as the privilege categories for reports. You can change the label for all report privilege categories.
    Tip: You can use HTML tags to customize the labels.
  6. Click OK.
