When you update a snapshot, you recapture the process app that is
    running in the source environment, including configuration entities such as
    users, projects, and reports, refreshing the information in the snapshot.
  
 
    Prerequisites:
 
      To update a snapshot, you must have the 
        Export Process Apps privilege (set in 
        SBM Application Administrator).
 
     
 
     
      Important: The updated snapshot replaces any previous version
        as the 
        
"latest" snapshot of the process app—the only snapshot of that
        process app available for access through 
        
Application
          Repository. If you
        want to save a snapshot for backup purposes, 
        
Export it to file. (See 
        
Exporting a Snapshot.)
        
      
 
 
      To update a snapshot:
 
     
 
    -  
        On the 
          Snapshots tab, select the snapshot you want to
          update.

        In the 
          Actions column, click the 
          Update icon.

        In the confirmation dialog box, click 
          Update Snapshot. 
         
      
 
 
    A process starts in the background to update the new snapshot.
      Refresh the 
      Process Apps tab to see it in the list or go to 
      Activities to see the status of the snapshot.
