Importing a Solution

In the list of Installed Solutions, use the Import Solution option to open the solution's snapshots in the repository.

Prerequisites:

To import a solution, you must have the Create Process App privilege, which is granted on the Privileges tab.

On-premise customers: You must have a solution, such as Service Support Manager, installed on your SBM Application Repository server.

On-demand customers: You must purchase a solution, such as Service Support Manager.

To import a solution:

  1. On the Solutions tab, select a solution that you want to import.
  2. Click the Import Solution icon. A confirmation dialog box appears, explaining which process apps you are about to import.
  3. Click Import to confirm and import the solution.
The solution appears in the Imported Solutions section. Click the Open Snapshot icon to view the list of snapshots on the Snapshots tab. Note that the snapshots are displayed with the associated solution selected in the Sources drop-down list. You can now promote the snapshots, as described in Promoting a Snapshot.
