Setting Channel Recipient IDs

The Channels tab enables you to provide a Recipient ID for one or more user channels set up by your administrator. Channels are additional messaging mediums through which you can receive notification messages. For example, if your administrator creates an instant message (IM) user channel and associates it with one or more notifications, you can provide your recipient ID in the Channels tab for that channel, subscribe to notifications that use that channel, and then receive notifications through your IM client in addition to standard e-mail messages.
