Finding Field Values

Two search mechanisms are provided for finding field values for selection-type fields, such as User fields or Relational fields that pull values from primary or auxiliary tables:

• A search icon indicates you can type a word or a few characters in a box, and then click the icon or press Enter to populate a drop-down list with possible values for the field.

• Relational Field Value Lookup provides an advanced search mechanism similar to the Advanced Lookup Tool. You can use this search mechanism to find values for the relational fields.
