Favorites View

The Favorites view displays links to frequently used features, forms, items, and reports in folders that you create or that are provided by the system. For details, refer to Working with Favorites.

The following toolbar icons appear in the Favorites view.
Icon Command Description
image Add New Folder Creates a subfolder beneath the selected folder. To create a folder at the root of the Favorites view, click the Select Top Folder icon and then click the Add New Folder icon.
image Delete Folder or Link Deletes the selected folder or link. You cannot delete system folders.
image Rename Folder or Link Renames the selected folder or link. You can rename any folder except the Quick Links folder.
image View Folder Content Displays any links at the root of the Favorites view in the content pane. You must first click the Select Top Folder icon before clicking the View Folder Content icon.
Note: Selecting any other folder automatically causes its links to appear in the content pane.
image Cut Folder or Link Cuts the selected link or folder that you want to move. A scissors icon appears next to the folder or link.
image Paste Folder or Link Pastes the cut folder or link to the selected folder. To move the folder or link to the root of the Favorites view, click the Select Top Folder icon, and then click the Paste Folder or Link icon.
image Add URL Creates a URL in the selected folder.
image Select Top Folder Selects the root of the Favorites view. You can then view links at the root or add or move folders and links to this location.
image Save Folder Expansion Saves the expanded or collapsed state of your folders. Note that this expansion is stored in a cookie and will be lost if you clear your browser cookies.
image Refresh Folder Reloads the Favorites view.
