The Event Definition Event Mapping dialog box lets you view or edit the mapping between an event definition and an asynchronous orchestration workflow. The map defines the specific values for the event that causes the workflow to be invoked.

Event Definition | Identifies the event definition. |
Version |
The version number of the event definition. This information is used to distinguish between event definitions used by the same product. |
Product name |
The name of the external product or application raising the event associated with the event definition. |
Product instance |
The instance of the event definition. This information is used to distinguish between event definitions used by the same product. If the mapped orchestration workflow is checked out, you can modify the value of this element. |
Object type |
The object type that together with the event type, defines this mapping to the Event Manager. The object type identifies the type of object or record that triggers the event type. If the mapped orchestration workflow is checked out, you can modify the value of this element. |
Event type |
The event type that together with the object type, defines this mapping to the Event Manager. The event type identifies what occurs to trigger the event. If the mapped orchestration workflow is checked out, you can modify the value of this element. |
Workflow | The orchestration workflow that you want to run when an event with the selected values is received by the Event Manager. |
