Using Reports → Using Reports → Running Reports → Report Results
Report results appear in the Item List pane. To view detailed information about each item returned in the report, click the item link.
Depending on your privileges and the type of report you ran, the following information and options may be available in the Item List pane:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Report Title | The report title for saved reports appears in the top left corner of the Item List pane. |
Date/time | The date and time the report was run appears in the top right corner of the Item List pane. |
Now showing | Depending on the type of report you ran, the number of items returned by the report and how many items may be listed on the first frame of the report. |
Next, Last, All | Navigation links are available when the number of items returned by the report is greater than the Items Per Page setting in your user profile. Click the links to view items. The Next, Last, and All links do not apply to Distribution, External, Multi-View, Summary, and Trend reports. |
Update All Checked | Depending on your privileges and the list of items you are viewing, you may be able to update multiple items at once using the mass update feature. Select the check box next to items you want to update, and then click the Update All Checked button. |
Requery | This link is available on Details, Listing, Multi-Table and State Change reports. Click the link to requery the database and add the latest information to the Item List pane and the navigation pane. |
Create Link in | You can select the check box next to items to create links to them in a folder. |
The following actions can be performed from report results. Depending on the theme your system uses, these options may appear as icons in the upper right corner of the page, or in the Actions drop-down list.
Action | Description |
---|---|
Use Editable Grid | Opens the report in a grid view. Refer to Using the Rich Editable Grid. |
Details | Shows report results in a details view. This view is similar to the results of a Details report. |
Export to Excel | Exports static data to Microsoft Excel. You can then use Excel's formatting features to manipulate the data. |
Edit Report | If you have privileges to modify a report, the Edit Report link is available. |
Reload | Refreshes the report results that are displayed. |
Requery QAR Parameters | Returns you to the page that enables you to specify query-at-runtime parameters for the report. |
Printable View | Opens a printable view of the report in a
separate window. The printable view does not include icons, item links, folder
check boxes, and navigation links. The printable view contains only the items
displayed on the page. For
Multi-View reports, you can print the entire report or
individual reports contained within the
Multi-View report. If your report results contain more
items than allowed by your
Items Per Page setting in your user
profile, click the
All link at the bottom of the
Item List pane printing the report.
Note: To print Rich Graphical Reports, right-click in the
report results, and then select
Print Chart.

E-mail Report | You can e-mail hyperlinks to reports that are not private. Only SBM users with appropriate privileges can run the report. For Multi-View reports, you can send a hyperlink to the entire report or individual reports contained within the Multi-View report. For details, refer to Sending Links to Reports Through E-mail. |
Set as Home Page | Makes the current report your home page for the selected application. |
Copy URL to Clipboard | In the dialog box that opens, press CTRL+C to copy the selected URL. |
