Getting Started with the SBM User Workspace → Introducing the SBM User Workspace → About the SBM User Workspace
The SBM User Workspace is available from any standard Web browser.
The SBM User Workspace reflects your organization's tracking processes, which are represented by applications. Applications enable you to track primary items in a workflow process, gather information for auxiliary items that support but do not follow that process, generate reports, and more. Examples of applications are Change Management and Knowledge Management.
The information and features to which you have access are determined by your administrator. For example, your administrator can grant you privileges to some applications but not others.
Common tasks in the SBM User Workspace include:
Submit, transition, and update primary items.
Create, edit, and run reports.
Attach files, notes, and e-mail messages to items.
Link SBM items together.
Send e-mail associated with items or their attachments.
Search for items that you have privileges to view.
Modify your user profile.
Subscribe to e-mail notifications for specific items.
