Table Configuration → Configuring Tables for Applications → Viewing Table Properties → The Tables Tab
The Tables tab lists all of the primary and auxiliary tables in your database.
The following information describes the columns and options shown on the Tables tab.
Name – Indicates the logical name for the table. This name is provided in SBM Composer when you create a table. For system auxiliary tables, this name is provided by the Create Database Wizard.
Description – Displays a short description of the table.
Type – Identifies the table type. There are two main table types: primary and auxiliary. The table type is set when you create a table in SBM Composer, and once the table type has been defined, it cannot be changed. Tables that are associated with a specific application include the name of that application. For example, a Products auxiliary table may be associated with an Incident Management application, so "Auxiliary Incident Management" appears in the Type column. If the word "System" appears before the word "Auxiliary," it means that the table is provided by the Create Database Wizard.
Namespace – This column displays the on-demand account name in which the table resides, if applicable. The table operates only within this specified namespace.
Edit – Click this button to view properties defined in SBM Composer and to configure table properties, such as default values for User fields for auxiliary tables.
