Releasing Administrative Locks

System administrators can release locks left in place by a forgetful administrator or if SBM System Administrator terminates incorrectly. Administrator locks cannot be released using the Remote Administrator.

To release administrative locks from SBM System Administrator:

From the File menu, select Administrative Locks. The Administrative Locks dialog box opens. All the administrative write locks against the current database are listed.
Select a lock and click Remove.
Click Yes to confirm that you are removing the lock; click No to cancel.
