Copying and Pasting Form Actions

You can copy a form action from a form in the same process app or in a referenced application and paste it into the open application. This is useful when you have multiple forms for which a single action is relevant or for limiting the amount of rework across multiple applications.

To copy a form action:

Navigate to the form in the source application, and then select the Actions tab.
Right-click the action in the source form, and then select Copy.
Navigate to the target form. The Actions tab should be automatically selected.
Right-click on the actions list, and then select Paste.
SBM Composer attempts to resolve references to fields, controls, images, or rules. If references cannot be resolved, the action is disabled and you need to manually repair it.
Note: To copy actions from a different application, you may need to first create a temporary reference to that application. For details, refer to Defining a Reference. Once you have copied actions, you can remove the reference.
