Customizing Your Menus

Default menu items are provided in the navigation pane for Home and each application and application group. For Home, the default menu items are:

My Dashboard
My Activity
My Calendar

For applications and application groups, a Reports menu item is also available.

You can add favorite views and reports to your menus for easy access. As you do so, menu items are organized by category, with a maximum of 20 items per category.

Menu changes are personal and are not visible to other users.

Adding Views to Menus

Use one of these methods to add dashboards and calendar, activity, and backlog views to menus for Home and each pinned application:

In some cases, views are automatically added to your menu when you create them. For example, if you use the Create menu located on an existing dashboard, your new dashboard is added to your menu when you save it.
Run a view, then select Add to Menu from the Actions list.
From the Manage Views page, search for or navigate to the view you want to add to your menu, then hover over the view row and click the star icon.
If you are an administrator and the owner of a shared view, you can choose to automatically add the view to the menus of users the view is shared with. For details, refer to Sharing a View With Other Users.

Adding Reports to Menus

Use one of these methods to add your favorite reports to your menus for each pinned application and application group:

From the Reports Center, search for or navigate to the report you want to add to your menu, then hover over the report row and click the star icon.
Run a report, then select Add to Menu from the Actions list.

Reordering Menu Items

You can reorder views and reports for each category (dashboards, activities, calendars, reports, and backlogs). You cannot drag views and reports into unrelated categories. For example, you cannot move a report to the Dashboards category.

To reorder menu items:

Click the Manage Views icon () in the navigation pane.
Drag and drop menu items in each category.

Removing Items from Menus

You can remove items you have added to navigation pane menus. You cannot remove the default menu items, such as My Activity, or menu items that are automatically added when an administrator shares a view with you.

Use one of these methods to remove items from your menus:

For views, open the Manage Views page. For reports, open the Report Center. Then, click the yellow star icon that indicates the view or report has been added to a menu.
Run the view or report you want to remove, then select Remove from Menu form the Actions list.
