Dimensions RM 12.4 addresses various enhancement requests and issues that were submitted by customers, including:
· Agile Capabilities:
o Prioritized backlogs.
o Product & Sprint Storyboards.
o Burn-down reports for Releases and Sprints.
· Variant Management:
o New types of document: Master and Child.
o Inheritance of master document structure and requirement content to child documents to support product variants and reuse.
· Various enhancements in Document View:
o Drag and Drop for moving requirements or reordering.
o Ability to move a document to another category.
o Ability to exchange object version across multiple documents.
o Allow class restriction in a document.
o Ability to create documents without being able to create collections.
o Allow users to set defaults in document 'Find and Replace' dialog.
o Ability to Expand All/Collapse All chapters in a document.
o Define default layout for a document.
o Ability to use multi-selection for moving requirements/chapters within document structure.
· Requirements breakdown ratio report. Report shows the coverage percentage for a chain of requirements classes.
· Ability to retire list entries rather than deleting them.
· Ability to define displaying of user full name and/or user id everywhere in RM Browser.
· Rich Text Editor Enhancements
o Modern Look and Feel. Better support for content pasting.
o Spell checker for HTML attributes in RM Browser.
o Using of superscript and subscript values in HTML attributes in RM Browser.
· Support of direct URL links to reports, including traceability ones, scripts with run-time parameters and sorting.
· Limitation of Public Report Editing group list based on permissions.
· Additional functionality in Workflow:
o Mass transition for workflow state.
o Add ability to assign a user attribute to a group and not just an individual user.
o Ability to bulk import requirements into a selected workflow state.
o Support of multiple custom forms for a class supporting states and transitions
· Gap elimination in Group Attributes:
o Creating of objects with mandatory group attributes in editable grid.
o Adding of new row in group attributes without values.
· Public/Private Dashboard access management.
· Ability to do additional filtering of a result
set in editable grid in class reports and quick search.
· Possibility to show incoming and outgoing links for a requirement version in search and report results.
· Filter requirements which are related to me in MyWork view in proposals report.
· Pop-up suppression in “Object Pending Approval” and “Newer Version of Object Available”.
· Round trip to MS Word to replace requirements with new version.
· User Management/Group Assignment in RM Browser.
· CSV mport/Export of Test Steps attributes in Test Case class.
· LDAP Interface enhancements:
o Creating of RM accounts with correct account first and last name rather than LDAP.
o Import user’s e-mail address, phone number, location, etc. in RM LDAP interface.
· Ability to create LDAP and SSO users in CreateUser web service.
· Show only databases in RM Login Screen where RM is installed.
· Support of Amazon Relational Database Service.
