Executing Tasks in a Parent-Child Hierarchy

If you are executing deployment tasks that are part of a parent-child hierarchy, including release packages linked to deployable release trains and parent-child release packages, the deployment tasks are shown and managed in the top level of the hierarchy.

To execute tasks in child release packages:

  1. View the top level item in the hierarchy, such as the deployable release train or the parent release package.
  2. In the Deployment Tasks tab, select Task Executions.
  3. Tasks that are part of child release packages are shown in the order of execution. Click the link for the task to work with it.
Labels and options on the page typically give clear indications that you are working with a child package as you navigate through the deployment.
