The default All Release Trains timeline is created the first time it is
accessed by an administrative user. This enables the display of Timeline Editor
and Timeline Manager.
To create the timeline:
- Log into
Work Center
as an administrative user.
- Expand
Release Trains in the navigation pane and then
select
Timeline.
- Do not click any buttons, but click away from and back to
Timeline two or three times until you see
All Release Trains in the upper left of the
content area. This indicates that the timeline data has been successfully
loaded into the database. The timeline will be populated with release trains if
any already exist.
Continue as follows:
- If you want to use the default timeline, you do not need to do any
further configuration. You can use the
All Release Trains timeline as-is.
- If you want to change the element settings or reports for the
timeline, click the
Edit button to invoke Timeline Editor and change
the settings.
- If you want to add timelines, you must use Timeline Manager.
