This online Help gives an overview of the Release Control SBM solution and gives basic usage information based on the default implementation. It also guides you through the installation, configuration, and onboarding of Release Control.

Where to Find Help

The online help accessed through the user profile menu is the SBM Work Center help, which tells how to navigate and use Work Center.

To access the Release Control-specific online help, use the following:

To access the Release Control online help system, click the link for the online help on the Release Control page in Documentation Center.
For help while viewing or filling out a form for an item such as a release package or release train:
- Point to a field that is underlined to see the help text for the field.
- Click the More button and select Get help for this Form.
For help for the application workflow, for example to see how a release package or release train is transitioned through its process, while viewing the item, click the More button and select Get help for this Application.

Important: Those installing, configuring, and onboarding to Release Control must be familiar with SBM and should use this documentation along with the SBM documentation.
