Installation Considerations

As of Release Control version 6.0, Release Control and Service Manager are installed using separate installers.

If you plan to use both Service Manager and Release Control:

1. Carefully read and perform all of the Pre-Installation Checklist tasks for each solution.
2. Perform the Service Manager installation and configuration steps.
3. Perform the Release Control installation and configuration steps.
4. Import the solution files and promote the snapshots for both solutions according to the documentation for each solution.
