About the Custom Form Extensions

Custom form extensions are included in the Release Control process app forms in several places. These display information and enable interactions with data from various sources.

These custom form extensions are included in the process apps in the default installation of Release Control and are configured to work with the default implementation. The extensions enable you to configure form behaviors without needing to change the underlying form or update and redeploy the process app.

The custom form extensions are as follows:

• Request Collection widget form extension

  This extension includes the request collection widget and form action conditions, which are used to list request information in the corresponding tab in release packages. Refer to Request Collection Extension.

• Task and Unit Collection widget form extension

  This extension includes the deployment unit widget, the execution deployment unit widget, and the task collection widget, which are used to list deployment unit and deployment task information in the corresponding tabs in release packages. Refer to Deployment Unit and Task Collection Extension.

• SBM solution actions list extension

  This extension has the action list widget, which is used for quick views of parent and child package information in release packages. Refer to SBM Solutions Actions List Extension.

• Custom Columns extension

  This extension enables you to define custom column entries for deployment unit and request lists. You must define the custom columns in the auxiliary table. Refer to Custom Columns.
