ServiceNow Plugin → Using the ServiceNow Plugin → Associating ServiceNow Items with Requests
After the ServiceNow Request provider configuration has been added or updated as needed, users, such as Release Managers, can associate ServiceNow items, as requests, with release packages.
To add a ServiceNow request, you use the ServiceNow request provider. Typically, to use the ServiceNow request provider, in a Release Package in the Requests tab, do the following:
When you add or edit a request, you enter search criteria and then click Find Items to find and select the ServiceNow items to associate with the request.
The fields that are displayed when searching for requests from the Request Collection Widget are described in the following table.

Tip: Search Terms can be modified in the
Release Control Providers administrator page.
