Associating SBM Items with Requests

After the SBM Request Provider configuration has been added or updated as needed, users, such as Release Managers, can associate SBM items, as requests, with release packages.

To add a SBM request, you use the SBM request provider. Typically, to use the SBM request provider, in a Release Package in the Requests tab, do the following:

Click Edit Requests.
Click the + icon to add a request.
Select the SBM request provider name. For example, if you are using the Sample Requests Process App with your plugin, you would select RLC - Sample Request.

When you add or edit a request, you enter search criteria and then click Find Items to find and select the SBM items to associate with the request.

The fields that are displayed when searching for requests from the Request Collection Widget are described in the following table.
