Updating ChangeMan ZMF Change Packages

Update Properties allows you to update such fields as: Work Request, Detailed Description, and Installation Instructions.

To configure an update change package action in a deployment task:

Create or edit a task and select the Update properties action.

Tip: Use variables such as ${TITLE}, ${URL} and ${ISSUEID} as values for the Update Properties Action fields. During a deployment the parameters are resolved and target ZMF Change Package properties will be the source Release Package Title, URL, and ID.

Tip: Values specified in the User Variables field in Provider Administration, Action Configuration, appear as properties to update together with the default properties, such as: ${TITLE}, ${URL}and${ISSUEID}.
