Deployment Automation Plugin → Using the Deployment Automation Plugin → Configuring Snapshot Deployment Tasks
After a Snapshot Actions configuration has been added or updated as needed, you can configure tasks to deploy Deployment Automation snapshots.
The deployment is done by running an application process.
If you cancel a Deployment Automation task in Release Control, the corresponding Deployment Automation process is cancelled in Deployment Automation.
To create a snapshot deployment task:
The fields that are displayed when configuring tasks are described in the following table.

Snapshot | Click the link icon beside the field to
select the snapshot that you want to associate with the task.
Use available items: Select from snapshots that have already been added. Use available configurations: Search for existing snapshots or create new ones. Select an item configuration. See Associating Snapshots with Deployment Units and Creating Snapshots. |

Environment | Select each environment in which you want to execute the task. These are the environments configured in the deployment path. For example, Dev, Test, and Prod. | QA |
