SBM Plugin → Using the SBM Plugin → Configuring Tasks to Create SBM Items
After an SBM Actions configuration has been added or updated as needed, you can create tasks that create SBM items.
To create a deployment task to execute an SBM Create Item action:
The fields that are displayed are described in the following table.

Item(s) | Click the link icon beside the field to
select the items that you want to associate with the task.
Use available items: Select from a list of items created through any of the object configurations available to this configuration. Use available configurations: Search for existing items or create new ones from any available object configuration. Select one of the Item configurations. See Creating Items in SBM Deployment Tasks. |

Environment | Select each environment in which you want to execute the task. These are the environments configured in the deployment path. | Dev, Test, and Prod |
The previous version of the Create Item action is retained for backwards compatibility and is now called Create Item (Deprecated).
The fields that are displayed depend on the process app into which you are submitting an item. The RLC - Manual tasks and IDM process apps are provided with release control but you can submit into any process app that you have made available in your plugin configuration. The following field types are supported when you create items in SBM:
