To add a CA Release Automation deployment task, you use the CA Release
		Automation Actions configuration.
 
	 Typically, to configure a CA Release Automation deployment task, do the
		following:
 
	  
		- In a deployable release train or release package, select the 
		  Deployment Tasks tab. 
		
 
 
		- Click 
		  Edit Deployment Tasks. 
		
 
 
		- Click the + 
		  icon to add a task. 
		
 
 
		- Select a CA Release Automation Actions configuration. 
		
 
 
		- Fill out the resulting form. 
		  
The CA Release Automation actions available to select in deployment
			 tasks are as follows:
 
		   
			 - Create and Run Deployment Plan: If the designated
				deployment plan does not exist, it will create it. If a plan with same name and
				build exists, the deployment task will be invalid. If the name exists, but the
				build is different, a new one will be created. The only way to run an existing
				plan is to use the Run Deployment action. 
			 
 
 
			 - Run Process: Runs an existing process 
			 
 
 
			 - Run Deployment: Runs an existing deployment plan, enabling
				you to run a deployment plan over and over again 
			 
 
 
		  
 
		 
 
	 
 
	 After you select an action, additional fields
