ALM Octane Base Configuration Details

Add a base configuration to define shared properties for a set of Octane work item and requirement configurations.

Field Descriptions

The field descriptions are included in the UI. While creating or editing a configuration, point to a field name to view its description.

The base configuration fields are described in the following table.

Field	Description	Example Values
ALM Octane URL	The URL of the ALM Octane server	http://<servername>:8080
User Name	The user name for authenticating with ALM Octane
Password	User name password
Shared Space	Shared space ID, only a single value is supported	1001
Work Space	Work space ID, only a single value is supported	1002
Use Tech Preview API	The Tech Preview API is enabled by default. If you disable it the Public API is used and some Octane functionality may be limited or unavailable.
