ChangeMan ZMF Plugin → ChangeMan ZMF Plugin Configuration Overview → ZMF Base Configuration Details
Add a base configuration to define shared properties for a set of ChangeMan ZMF item and action configurations.
If SSO is selected, Release Control validates the configuration using the currently-logged in user. If that user ID that does not have permission for ChangeMan ZMF access through the plugin, the configuration will show as invalid, even if the configuration is valid.
You can ignore the invalid indication and still use the configuration as long as the configuration is actually valid. If you want to test the SSO validation during configuration, you must log in as a managed administrator user whose SBM user ID is configured properly for the ChangeMan ZMF plugin and ALM Connector. See the ALM Connector Configuration Guide.
Field Descriptions
The field descriptions are included in the UI. While creating or editing a configuration, point to a field name to view its description.
The base configuration fields are described in the following table.
| Field | Description | Example Values |
|---|---|---|
| ALM Connector URL | Enter the location of the Apache Tomcat server instance where the ALM Connector war files (almsernet, almzmf, almzmfws, and almzmfalf) are installed. The default Tomcat port is 8080. | http://<servername>:8080 |
| ChangeMan ZMF Server | The z/OS mainframe where the ChangeMan ZMF started task is installed | MN01.domain.com |
| ChangeMan ZMF Server Port ID | The port ID used by the ChangeMan ZMF started task (CMN port number) | 3535 |
|
				   Use Single Sign-On (SSO) |

				If this is selected, the
				  ChangeMan ZMF

				  provider
will use the user name and password specified in the
				  ALM Connector

almsernet service resource properties as a proxy
user. The proxy user logs in on behalf of the
				  SBM
				  user name specified in the
				  SSO
				  token. To access
				  ChangeMan ZMF,
				  the
				  SBM
user name with which you log into
				  Release Control
must have a matching TSO login ID that exists on the mainframe.
				   Note: If
						SSO
is used, the user ID used to log into
						SBM
is the user ID that shows in the history as having carried out the
						ChangeMan ZMF
						actions.
