The fields that are displayed when configuring the deployment tasks to deploy Dimensions CM baselines or requests are described in the following table.

Baseline Specification |
(Baseline only) Click the link icon to select a baseline. From here, you can: Use available items: Select baselines that have already been added. Use available configurations: Search for existing baselines or create new ones. This uses Dimensions CM Baseline Item configurations. See Associating Baselines with Deployment Units and Creating Baselines. |

Request |
(Request only) Click the link icon to select a request. From here, you can: Use available items: Select requests that have already been added. Use available configurations: Search for existing requests or create new ones. This uses Dimensions CM Request Item configurations. See Associating Requests as Deployment Units and Creating Requests. |

Comment | Enter a comment as required by Dimensions CM for the deployment | |
Environment | Select each environment in which you want to execute the task. These are the environments configured in the deployment path. For example, Dev, Test, and Prod. | |
Deployment Stage | Select the stage of the Dimensions CM Global Stage Library (GSL) that you want to use for the deployment | QA |
Deployment Area | (Multiple selections possible) Select the deployment areas of Dimensions CM GSL to which you want to deploy the associated item revisions; requires Deployment Stage | QA2_ORACLE |
Recursive | (Requests only; per environment) The Dimensions CM Request Actions configuration can deploy, promote, and demote dependent child requests if the parent request has been added to Release Control as a deployment unit. Select the Recursive checkbox under an environment to activate that feature for that environment. | |
