Using Extended Fields to Set Values in Items

Extended fields can be used SBM Actions configurations to pass values to items that are created as part of the deployment.

For example, you can pass the required field RLM_TASK_OWNER to the START transition of a Manual Deployment Task item. See Configuring Tasks to Create SBM Items.

Note: When you specify SBM database fields in the Extended Fields properties in an SBM plugin configuration, the plugin stores this data in the Release Control tables.
