Create New/Edit Item Filter Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to create a new item filter or edit an existing item filter.

Use the General Tab to limit the number of items based on general item information.

Use the Attributes Tab/Page to limit the number of items based on attribute values.

Filter Name

The name of the filter.

For a new filter, type a filter name.

Maximum length is 32 characters.

Ignore Case

Select to ignore the case of text strings that you type.

Applies to all fields in this dialog box.

Created Between date1 and date2

Type a date range when the item revision was created, or click the Calendar button to select dates.

Type dates in the following format:

dd-mon-yyyy [hh:mm:ss] 

Updated Between date1 and date2

Type a date range when the item revision was updated, or click the Calendar button to select dates.

Type dates in the following format:

dd-mon-yyyy [hh:mm:ss] 

Modified Between date1 and date2

Type a date range when the item file was modified, or click the Calendar button to select dates.

Type dates in the following format:

dd-mon-yyyy [hh:mm:ss] 

Filename

Type the item project filename.

You can use wildcards in this field:

  • Use an underscore (_) to match exactly one character. For example, d_g matches dog or dig.

  • Use an asterisk (*) or percent sign (%) to match any number of characters. For example, d*g matches dog or drag or dreaming.

Project Folder Path

Type the item project folder.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Product ID

Select or type the product ID.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Item Type

Select or type the item type.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Status

Type the item status.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Originator

Type the user ID of the item originator.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Owning Design Part

Type the specification of the design part that owns the item. Or click Browse and use the Select Design Part wizard to find a design part.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Revision

Select All to search all revisions, or select Latest Only to search only the latest revisions.

 

Description

Type text to find in the item description.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Item ID

Type the item ID.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Stage ID

Type the build stage ID or select a value from the list.

You can use wildcards in this field.
