Project Compare Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to compare sets of item revisions in projects, baselines, or folders/directories.

Use the Ancestor tab to select the ancestor, or base folder, to which the other folder is compared.

Use the Derivative tab to select the folder that is compared to the ancestor.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Object type	Select Baseline, File Based, or Project.
Specification	Type the baseline or project specification, or click the Browse button to find the baseline or project.	Applies if the Object Type is Baseline or Project. Specifications have the following format: productID:baselineID productID:projectID
Folder	Type a folder path, or click the Browse button and select a folder. For a baseline or project, you can type or drag a subfolder of the baseline or project to use as the root of the comparison.
