When merging folders, you can upload files from a folder outside of the Dimensions database and preserve them in a Dimensions project. In order to determine the design part, format, and item type for these new items, the Project Merge Tool uses the Dimensions CM upload rules.
Before saving a target folder, define the upload rules. For more information, see the Process Configuration Guide.
