New Filter for Baselines/Edit Baseline Filter Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to create a new filter or edit an existing filter for baselines.

Use the General Tab to limit the number of baselines based on general baseline information.

See Attributes Tab/Page for how to limit the number of baselines based on attribute values.

Rules and Guidelines

Filter Name

The name of the filter.

For a new filter, type a filter name.

Maximum length is 32 characters.

Ignore Case

Select to ignore the case of text strings.

Applies to all fields in this dialog box.

Baseline ID

Select or type the baseline ID.

Maximum length is 25 characters.

You can use wildcards in this field:

  • Use an underscore (_) to match exactly one character. For example, d_g matches dog or dig.

  • Use an asterisk (*) or percent sign (%) to match any number of characters. For example, d*g matches dog or drag or dreaming.

Type

Select or type the baseline type.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Status

Type the baseline status.

Maximum length is 25 characters.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Originator

Type the user ID of the baseline originator.

Maximum length is 25 characters.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Last Updated By

Type the user ID of the person who last updated the baseline.

Maximum length is 25 characters.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Product ID

Select or type the product ID.

Maximum length is 10 characters.

You can use wildcards in this field.

Created Between date1 and date2

Type a date range when the baseline was created, or click the Calendar button to select dates.

Type dates in the following format:

dd-mon-yyyy [hh:mm:ss]

Updated Between date1 and date2

Type a date range when the baseline was updated, or click the Calendar button to select dates.

Type dates in the following format:

dd-mon-yyyy [hh:mm:ss]
