New Revised Baseline Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to create a new baseline by revising an existing baseline based on related requests.

Use the General tab to identify the baseline and list the requests.

See Attributes Tab/Page for how to view and change the baseline's user-defined attributes.

Baseline ID

The specification of the selected baseline.

 

New Baseline ID

Type a unique name or label for the baseline.

This name must be unique within the product.

Maximum length is 128 characters .

Type

Select a baseline type.

The baseline types are defined in the Administration Console. For more information, see the Process Configuration Guide.

If user-defined attributes exist for the selected type, use the Attributes tab to view and change them.

Requests to Update

The list of requests used to update the baseline.

Type one or more requests, or click the Browse button and use the Select Request wizard.

See Revising Baselines for details of how the requests are processed.

Use commas to separate requests IDs in the list.

Request have the following format:

productID_changedocType_ number

You can select a maximum of 496 requests.

Requests to Remove

The list of requests used to remove item revisions from the baseline.

Type one or more requests, or click the Browse button and use the Select Request wizard.

See Revising Baselines for details of how the requests are processed.

Use commas to separate requests IDs in the list.

Request have the following format:

productID_changedocType_ number

Traverse Relationships

Select to include item revisions in all requests related to the listed requests.

 

Project

Select the project on which the new baseline will be based.

The default is the current project.

Filter

Type a filter string to reduce the number of items displayed in the Project list.
