New Tip Baseline Dialog Box

Product

Select the product associated with this baseline.

The default is the product for the current project/stream.

New Baseline ID

Type a unique name or label for the baseline.

This name must be unique within the product.

Maximum length is 128 characters.

Type

Select a baseline type from the list.

• Defaults to the first type in the list.

• The baseline types are defined in the Administration Console. For more information, see the Process Configuration Guide.

• If user-defined attributes exist for the selected type, use the Attributes tab to view and change them.

Related Requests

Enter any requests you want to relate to this baseline as In Response to or use the browse button to select them.

Project/Stream Selector

Choose between:

• Use global

• Use current.

The project determines which item revisions are available for inclusion in the baseline.

If you check Use global, the top-level design part determines which item revisions are available for inclusion in the baseline.

Product

Select the product whose items you want to include in the baseline.

The default is the product for the project/stream. The product does not have to match the product ID for the baseline you are creating.

ID

Select the project/stream.

The default is the current project/stream.

Also baseline attached sub-projects and baselines

Select this option if you also want to baseline the sub-projects or baselines related to this project.

This only appears for a project if there are sub-projects/baselines attached to the project.
