Relate Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to relate selected objects to other objects.

Relationship type

Select a relationship type.

The available relationships depend on the object type and the process model.

Relate to

Type the specifications of the object(s) to which the current object will be related, or click the Browse button and use the Selection Wizard.

If you type object specifications, enclose each one with quotation marks ("") and separate them with commas (,).

Current object is

The direction of the relationship: Parent or Child

Only appears if the objects belong to the same object class

Project root folder

Enter or select a folder to be used as a root folder for the Relate to project when it is a child in a Project View with the current project as parent.

  • Only appears if the objects are both projects.

  • Only applies if Current object is set to Parent.

Relative path

Enter a relative path for the Relate to project when it is a child in a Project View with the current project. This path is used to offset the locations for its item files relative to the root folder for the parent project.

  • Only appears if the objects are both projects.

  • Only applies if Current object is set to Parent.
