New Work Area Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to define a work area for the work files in your project and to assign access for users and groups.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
ID	Enter a name for the area.
Description	Enter a description.
Network node	Select a node from the list
Directory	Enter the folder/directory path on this node or use the browse button to select it.	Note: If the folder/directory does not exist, it will not be created until files are fetched to that folder/directory.
Node user ID	The OS user who will own the files in this area.
Node password	The OS password for the Node Username.
Area owner	The Dimensions user who is to own this area.
Set area as default work location	Select this option to make this area the default location for the current project.
Available users/groups	The list of available users/groups set up in the base database.
Users/groups granted permission to access this area	The users/groups that have been granted permission to access the area.
