Create and use filters to reduce the number of items, requests, projects/streams, or baselines that are displayed in the content pane. A filter is a set of search criteria that you use to locate and display objects that match your criteria.
The web client includes some filters for common operations, such as finding all items, requests, or baselines on your Inbox. You can also create your own filters.
To create a filter:
In the content pane, from the Filters list, select New Filter.
In the Filter Name field, type a name for the filter.
On the General tab, set values to limit the number of objects found.
For more information about the values on each tab, click the Help button in the dialog box.
To search for objects by specifying attribute values, do the following:
a On the General tab, from the Item Type field, select the object type.
b Click the Attributes tab, and type or select values.
Click the OK button.
You see the new filter in the Filters list.
To use a filter:
In the content pane, from the Filters list, select the name of the filter.
The content pane shows the objects that match the search criteria in the filter.
To edit a filter:
In the content pane, from the Filters list, select a filter.
From the Filters list, select Edit Current Filter.
On the General tab, set values to limit the number of objects found.

To search for objects by specifying attribute values, do the following:
a On the General tab, from the Item Type field, select an object type.
b Click the Attributes tab, and type or select values.
Click the OK button.
To delete a filter:
In the content pane, from the Filters list, select a filter.
From the Filters list, select Delete Current Filter.
