New Project Wizard

Use this wizard to create a new project.

Use the General page (see below) to specify the name and type of the new project.

Use the New Project Wizard Based-on Page to specify what the project or stream is to be based on.

Use the New Project Wizard Options Page to specify the versioning and CM rules options for the new project.

See Attributes Tab/Page for how to change the user-defined attributes.

Use the Summary page to check the details of the project/stream you are creating and confirm the creation.

Note: If you are creating a target project for merging projects, the project is not actually created until you successfully merge the projects.

General Page

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Product	Select the product in which to create the new project.	The default is the product ID of your current product.
Project Name	Type a name for the new project.	Required.
Type	Select a project type.
Description	Type a description for the new project.	Required.
Open using work area	Select if you want the new project to be opened when the wizard completes.	Select a work area.
Add to favorites	Adds the new project to your list of Favorites.
