Explorer Properties Dimensions Tab

Use the Dimensions tab of the Explorer Properties dialog box to view and update the Dimensions-related properties of a file or folder. This appears as an extra tab in the Explorer Properties dialog when the plug-in is installed.

Associated Dimensions project

Optionally, type a new project specification or use the Browse button to select it.

Default value <Use default> means that this is your default project as set in the desktop client.

default comment for check in

A comment to be used if an item file is being checked in or uploaded to the repository

 

Request under work

The request(s) to be related to an item if it is being checked in or uploaded to the repository.

Type a request ID, or use the Browse button to select it.

 

Part specification

The owning design part to be used for any new items belonging to the selected folder or any subfolders.

Note that this may be overridden by any owning design part that has been set for any folder below this folder in the work area.

Default value <Use default> means that the owning design part for a new item will be determined by the upload rules for the item type (unless overridden by the Owning design part for new items field for a subfolder to which it belongs).

Local file exclusions

Enter an expression to specify file types in the work area that you do not want to be included in the synchronization.

Repository file exclusions

Enter an expression to specify file types in the repository that you do not want to be included in the synchronization.

Permissions after update

The permission to be given the file after it has been downloaded. Choose between Make read only and Make writable.

 

Permissions after deliver

The permission to give the file after it has been delivered.

Choose between Make read only and Keep unchanged.

 

Enable synchronize logging

Select Yes if you want a log file to be saved for the process.

 

Log folder

Type a pathname, or use the Browse button to select it.

Default <Use default> folder is <DM_ROOT>\CM\logs.

Header substituted

States whether header substitution took place when the item was gotten or checked out.

Display only.

Is extracted

States whether the item was checked out when the item file was copied from Dimensions CM.

Item specification

The item specification.

Display only.

Item status

The status of the item when the file was gotten or checked out.

Display only.

Original modification date

The date and time the file had last been modified at the time the item was gotten or checked out.
