Manage Relationships Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to relate and unrelate other objects from the selected object.

Description

Rules and Guidelines

ID

The ID of the object you have selected to relate to other objects.

 

Title/Description

The title or description of the object you have selected.

 

Add button

Click this button to add a relationship.

Displays an <object class> to <object class> Relationship dialog box.

The object classes to be related are determined by the selected object and the object class that is selected in the Specification field.

Remove button

Marks selected relationship in the Relationships table for removal.

The relationship will be deleted when you click the OK button.

Specification

Shows a node for each class of object that can be related to the selected object. Beneath the nodes are the specifications of any objects already related to the selected object.

You can add objects to the list using one of the following methods:

  • Clicking the Add button and selecting objects in the <object class> to <object class> Relationship dialog box.

  • Dragging and dropping objects on to the dialog box from a content window.

Description

The description of the related object.

Display only.

Relationship

The relationship type.

If this is displayed as a link you can click it to change the type of relationship.

The relationships available for an object are set up in your process model.

Direction

The direction of the relationship-Parent or Child.

If this is displayed as a link you can click it to change the direction of the relationship.
