The Serena® Dimensions® CM desktop client is a Microsoft Windows-based application that gives you access to your Dimensions CM database. The desktop client enables you to perform all tasks described in the this guide and help system.
The desktop client runs on personal computers running Microsoft Windows. With the desktop client, you can access a Dimensions CM server and database on your Windows computer, or you can access a Dimensions CM server and database on a network node. For information about configuring network nodes, see the System Administration Guide.
To use the desktop client, it must be installed on your Windows computer. For installation information, see the Installation Guide.
