User Filter Dialog Box

The User Filter dialog box allows you to filter the users in the base database that appear in the navigation and content panes.

Wildcard characters include:

_ for one character, for example d_g matches dog or dig.
* or % for any number of characters, for example d*g matches dog or drag or dreaming.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
ID	The login ID of the user authorized to use the account.	Up to 25 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Full User Name	The full name of the Dimensions user.	Up to 50 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Telephone No.	The user's telephone number.	Up to 25 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Department	The user's department. For example: R&D	Up to 10 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Group Id	The new user's group identity. For example: Testing Note This is not the same kind of group as the one that is used to determine privileges.	Up to 25 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Site	The site of the new user, for example "Head Office", or "New York".	Up to 25 characters. Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
E-mail	The user's email address.	Text string with optional wildcard characters. Default: blank (any).
Reset Filter	Clears the fields of the User Filter dialog box.
