New Role Definition Dialog Box

The New Role Definition dialog box allows you to add a new role to the base database.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
ID	A name for the role.	Required. Up to 25 characters. Cannot start with dollar sign ($), which is reserved for predefined Dimensions roles.
Description	A description of the role.	Required. Up to 240 characters.
