Import Template Dialog Box

The Import Template dialog box enables you to copy a new template file from your work area to update the selected item or request template without changing its name or revision number in Dimensions.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Name	The name that identifies the template.	Display Only.
Revision	The revision number of the template.	Display Only.
Filename	The name and path of the item header substitution file or request browse template file. The contents of this file will be stored in Dimensions against the template and revision specified.	Use the browse button to locate the file or Enter the filename in the text field.
